With revenue growing through the affiliate channel year on year, the business looked for an agency that could maximise and optimise revenue with new processes.

The affiliate channel is the 4th biggest channel for WTTB online sales.

When Summit started working on the account, the team noticed that some returning resellers were buying through the affiliate channel to earn commissions, while also being rewarded through the WTTB internal “Rockstar” loyalty scheme, which pays out points to reseller customers.

After three months of analysis, Summit proposed a new cost saving validation process, while at the same time looking at plans to increase the number of new B2B affiliate customers.

This meant that WTTB was in effect giving out two lots of rewards, incurring additional costs for the same customers, which needed to stop.

Each month, the team manually checked all the data to see whether the process needed to be tweaked. A client report was produced every month, showing the savings and impact.
