Overview

Stardotstar is a problem focussed, user-experience and service design agency. We’re the antidote to the way-things-are-done in your organisation.

We make sure we understand your wants, and through research, your users’ needs too. We offer strategic planning, workshops and prototypes to design and build for your customers, users, audiences, visitors, donators, contributors, players and creators.

Over the last twenty years, we’ve reinvented road safety, devised ‘technically impossible’ online learning music tools, made public transport interesting for kids and showed the motorists of the UK where the cheapest places to park are. A side-effect of which is the awards we’ve been awarded, including; sixteen Big Chip Awards, five BIMA’s, several ‘Information is Beautiful’ nominations and a bit of a BAFTA.

We enable change because there are two types of organisations — those that are constantly changing to meet their users’ needs and those that no longer exist.

We’re making what your users need now and finding what they want next.
