We were tasked to create campaign with supporting visual identity for the Isle of Man. Our brief was to highlight the Island’s distinctive heritage and culture along with the exceptional experience visitors can have, increasing the contribution to their tourism economy by 20% in real terms by 2020.

The Challenge:

Our brief was to highlight the Island’s distinctive heritage and culture along with the exceptional experience visitors can have, increasing the contribution to their tourism economy by 20% in real terms by 2020.

Our Approach:

We created The Extraordinary Story, a three year campaign and strategy to showcase the very best of the Island. The look and feel took inspiration from Celtic and Viking glyphs, which sat perfectly alongside the current brand and iconic triskelion.

It was told in three distinct chapters starting with the Island itself, moving on to the people who live there - badged as Clans - before finally ending on the visitors.

Vivid and the team have delivered numerous high-profile campaigns and projects including the Visitor Guides, our audience profiles, our ongoing campaigns since 2016 and we are very excited to be working on the new creation of the brand and subsequent film.
